Anna Thomas is gradually coming to terms with the fact that increasing numbers of people call her an 'Artist'.
Though her flower smashing career began in late primary school she forgot all about it until later in life when she (thought she) needed an on-going Instagram project but probably just needed a creative outlet/mental break while mothering two very small children.
Anna's first images were of flowers foraged from her Mum's garden, frozen using free liquid nitrogen ferried home from her Dad's medical practice in a styrofoam esky. As a result she didn't realise how expensive this new project would be until she started having to purchase her own materials. Fortunately several lovely patrons including The Artwork Stylist have stumbled across her work and this has kept her practice moving along. Anna hopes to one day own her own liquid nitrogen dewar and grow enough flowers to create images on a much more regular basis.
